The unit for plastic tanks comes complete with fitting flange, O ring and Locking Nut (as shown in the picture) so that it can simply be fitted through a 2″ hole cut into the top of the tank. The unit for steel tanks is supplied without fitting flange, O ring nor Locking Nut (as shown in the picture) so that it screws directly into the 2″ BSP Female inlet.

Very important: The GV4300 requires the T Bar Fitting tool GV5000 in order to screw this in place, which is supplied as an optional extra. 

The Atkinson Filstop – Overfill prevention valve is also recommended when you have an offset fill situation, where the tank isn’t accessible to the delivery vehicle and a remote filling point is situated away from the tank and connected by permanent pipework. When this pipework then connects to the tank itself an overfill prevention valve is suggested as good practice. Due to the delivery driver not being near the tank to see when its full. It is also recommended you have an overfill alarm at the remote fill point as well, the sensor is then set to a max level in the tank but the sounder unit would be situated at the remote fill point too to alert the delivery driver to a full tank.
